Sunday Evening Worship: 5:30 pm
|
Our Sunday morning worship services are at 10 am, and child care is provided during the service. Each Sunday evening at 5:30 pm, we present a different form of service in a contemplative setting. At Kittamaqundi Community Church, you'll find an atmosphere that's casual and friendly. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of race, color, sexual orientation or religious affiliation! Here you'll discover a worship experience that's in many ways different from the traditional church. Our services are planned and conducted by volunteers in a Worship Task Group, under the guidance of our Enabling Minister. The morning services feature a "Time For All Ages" segment, during which children of all ages are invited to participate and discuss a selected topic. After that portion of the service, nursery care is provided for young children and Sunday School is offered to kids ages 5 and older. After the sermon (which we call the "sharing"), there's a "Time For Reflection," when anyone who'd like to speak is encouraged to do so. The Sunday evening worship services utilize different liturgies, with live and recorded contemplative music. If you haven't attended the Amazing Grace Coffeehouse, it's a must! Each concert features a light supper, and music by some of the most outstanding independent recording artists in this region and beyond. At KC, you and your family are invited to come worship with us and be part of our Kittamaqundi Community.
